I LOVE this cake...so fun!!

Ahoy Matey!

This was an interesting cake for me to make in light of my recent complaint that so many boys' apparel has skulls on them.  From our recent family viewing of the Pirates of a Caribbean movies, Cameron and Cade have taken a liking to pirates.  Knowing my own children, the skull and crossbones seems innocent and playful.   But perhaps I have learned a lesson about judging the clothes someone might select for their children to wear.

Cakes Galore

It has been awhile since I last posted the cakes I have been making so I have a few fun ones to share.

This cake was super fun!  I tried a new product...edible glitter!  The picture doesn't make it real obvious, but the black stripes are super shimmery!  This eight year old diva had a great cake!

 The Chicago Bears is a love of this little girls so she got a super fun cake!

A Boston Red Sox fan at heart recieved this cake for his birthday!

Graduation + last week of school + packing up classroom + Eric being gone + baseball schedule = 1 busy mama

Baptism

My first baptism cake!  Two young girls at my church made the decision to go public with their decision to be a follower of Christ.  I am so proud of them!

S'more Fun

For Cade's 5th birthday we celebrated with a camping theme.   I couldn't think of anything more appropriate to make for his cake...

For My Grandma

Today we are celebrating my grandma's 90th birthday!  I love you, Grandma!

Sweet 16

My cousin ordered this cake for her daughter's Sweet 16!  The birthday girl even designed it herself!

Getting Messy

A little girl plans to get messy with this cake when she digs into it on her 1st birthday!!

I was so happy with the colors on this cake.  I was able to match it perfectly to the themed decorations for a baby shower.
