I'm very new to cake decorating and am going to try and make MSU cake for a birthday party. Where did you get the stencil for the Spartan head for this cake?
For my stencils I print images from the computer inserting them into a Word document so I can adjust the size. I print them and then cut each section apart (very time consuming for stencils like this one with many small pieces). Next I lay the image on my fondant and use a cutting device. With something this small I use an exacto knife. When I am using a large stencil like with the Notre Dame cake, I lay my stencil wrong side up, cut out, and then I can pick up the entire cutting mat and flip onto the cake. However, with this particular stencil I cut out the parts and placed them by hand on the cake.

Could you tell me the size of the cake pans you used for this cake?
Thanks,
Natasha
The bottom is a 10" square and the top is an 8" circle.
